Jean Almeda Dixon Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jean Almeda Dixon of Kingston, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 15, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Dixon and Annie Dixon (Rutherford); her siblings, Maxine Dixon-Freeman, Muriel Fitch and Allan Dixon; and her nephew Allan Fitch.
She is survived by: her nephews, Darrell Freeman and David Freeman; her great-niece Naomi Bacon; her great-nephew Jacob Fitch; her cousin Pamela McGinnis-Morton (Neil); and her close friends, John, Deidre, Mandy, Erica, Jean and Murray Rolph.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Middleton Funeral Home (398 Main St, Middleton, NS B0S1P0). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Mary's Anglican Church (20 Morden Rd, Auburn, NS B0P1A0). A burial was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at the St. Mary's Cemetery (20 Morden Rd, Auburn, NS B0P1A0).
