He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Thompson and Myrtle Thompson; his brother Maurice; and his niece Linda Murphy. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his stepchildren, Shauna (Richard), Roderick, Carla, Philip (Chantal) and Kelvin (Rhonda); his stepgrandchildren, Valerie, Adrian, Dylanger, Karly, Heather, Amber, Erin, Samuel, Nathan, Vincent and Kelsey; his nephew Leonard Thompson (Carlene); his niece Christine Davison; his cousin Judith Wobst (Martin); and his sisters-in-law, Emma Buchanan and Patricia Mackintosh.
