She was predeceased by: her father Leonard Friesen; and her niece Adeline Martins. She is survived by: her mother Liesza Friesen; her husband Rodney Kornelsen; her children, Kanyn, Heidi and Andre; and her siblings, Lenardo (Jessica), Jevano, Denita (Branton Kornelsen), Delaney, Rocilia (Christian Martins) and Jonico.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 19th 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (100 Cornwallis St, Kentville, NS B4N 2E4).
