It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Henry Rand (Kentville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on February 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Rand and Lily Rand (Lytle) of Arlington. He is survived by: his wife Beverly Rand (Fraser); his children, Charles Rand (Monica) of Arlington and Christine Steenken (Casey); his grandchildren, Linnea, Sofia and Jade of New Minas; his daughter Lisa Rand (Tyler); his grandchildren, Kaida and Ember of Kentville; his siblings, Everett Rand (Leslie) of Arlington, Mary Rand of Glenmont and Susan Lyons (Bill) of Blomidon; and his uncle Ivan Rand (Lorraine) of Arlington. He is also survived by several nieces and, nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (100 Bridge St, Kentville, NS B4N2E4).
