It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jennie Olive Keating (Kentville, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 27, 2024, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Haley and Laura Haley (Rhodenizer); her former husband William James Ross; her husband William "Bill" Keating; and her siblings, Gordon Haley, Stewart Haley, Fred Haley, Murray Haley, George Smith, Glenna Newcombe, Madeline Taylor, Kathleen Frank, Donna DeVenney and Marguerite Brothers.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Starratt (Ray) of Timberlea and Joan Gee (John) of Coldbrook; her grandchildren, Laura Mark, Wesley Gee, Christan Gee and Garett Rhynard; her great grandchildren, Lauren, Grayson, Evelyn, Lily, Meredith, Alex and Elliot; her great great grandchild Aurelia; her siblings, Robert "Bob" Haley (Karen) of Halifax and Eunice Dill (late Joey); and her son Donald "Don" Calder of Edmonton, AB. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the White Family Funeral Home (100 Bridge St, Kentville, NS B4N2E4).
