She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Abbott and Adah Abbott (Newton); her husband James "Laurie"; and her daughter Janice Hale. She is survived by: her son Jim (Christine); her grandchildren, Ben (Eva) and Katherine Hale; and her great grandchildren, Jensen, Della, Jacob and Nathan.
