With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Ferne Lenora Eye (Kentville, Nova Scotia), born in Wolfville, Nova Scotia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Starr Gertridge and Hilda Gertridge (Schofield); her siblings, Charles Blaine (Infant), Wilford, Ross, Garth, David, Murray, Faye Stirling and Bonnie Wheaton; her husband Gerald; her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Mary-Lou Eye; her granddaughter-in-law Shannon Loretta Eye; and her grandson Kyle Aaron Eye.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen (Betty Joe), Bryson (Anne), Jeffeory (Glenda) and Kenneth (Elizabeth); her sisters-in-law, Marion Gertridge and Geneva Gertridge; her grandchildren, Matthew (Katherine), Joshua, Shawn (Melissa), Jeremy (Paige), Tyler (Julie Anne), Travis, Halee (Michael) and Chelsea; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Carter, Bentley, Maddox, Hendrix, Jace, Cohen, Dekarie, Akilah and Brooklyn; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Amanda, Samantha and Aaron.
A reception was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gaspereau United Baptist Church.
