She was predeceased by: her parents, Avon Miner and Phyllis Miner (Brown) of Grand Pre; her daughter Dianne; her husband Keith Walker; and her granddaughter Candice.

She is survived by: her former husband Don Ward of New Minas; her daughters, Shirley, Judy and Sheila; her grandchildren, Tanya, Sarah, Nick, Alex and Riley; and her great grandchildren, Madeline, Ben, Kate, Claire and Luke. She is also survived by husband and stepfather and very kind to his grandchildren for many years.
