She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Cole and Joyce Cole (Cranny); her former husband Eric Hewey (John); and her siblings, Dale Hudson and Johnny Cole.

She is survived by: her husband Gary Buckler; her children, Holly Hewey (Eric), Sonora, Scott Hewey (Shelley) and Johnny Hewey (Darlene); her stepchildren, Bonnie Buckler and Matthew Buckler; her grandchildren, Eric Hewey (Sophie), Jaden Hewey, Justin Hewey, Alexis Dunn, Hailey Sabourin (Martin), Brianna Hewey, Britney Hewey and Winter-Lynn Hewey; her great grandchildren, Claire Hewey and Levi Sabourin; her siblings, Donna Sabean (Joey), Michael Cole (Debbie) and Wilmot; and also, Alexander Buckler, Madison Buckler, Irelynne Buckler, McKinnon Buckler and Isabelle Buckler. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
