He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Levy and Elsie Levy (Eisenhauer); his wife Marie Levy (Anderson); and his siblings, Merle Schofield (Hedley), Ida Mae Smith (Kenneth), Lloyd (Ruby), Ivan (Leona), Arnel (Helen) and Orin (Greta).

He is survived by: his children, Merrill (Louise Carter) of Canaan, B. C., Michelle (Mark Johnson), Margo (Michael DeLisle), Marylee, Mark (Mandi Gandelman), Utah and LaMont "Monty"; his grandchildren, Kevin Levy, Jackie Hutt, Corrine Brown, Mallory Selby, Kirk Levy, Lauren Levy, Justin Johnson, Nathan Johnson, Molly Johnson, Jade DeLisle, Andrew Merks, Evan Merks, Melissa Merks-Odgers, Zeke Levy, Sarah Levy, Lauchlin Levy and Landen Levy; his children-in-law, Sheila Jones-Levy and David Merks; and his sisters-in-law, Hope Atkinson (Gerald) and Dorothy Parsons.
