She was predeceased by: her parents, Alan Hynes and Kathleen Hynes; her husband Gerry; and her siblings, Eddie, Rosie, Betty and Peggy.

She is survived by: her son Gerard; her daughter-in-law Shobha Pai; her grandchildren, Conor, Michael and Meghan; her son Alan; her granddaughter Fiona; her children, David and Maura; her son-in-law Larry Payne; her grandson Matthew; her siblings, Allan, Johnny, Phyllis, Marie and Angela; and also England.

Donations in Catherine's memory can be sent to the Valley Hospice Foundation in Kentville, Nova Scotia if one is so disposed.
