Bruce Charles Parkin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bruce Charles Parkin (Kentville, Nova Scotia), born in Montréal, Québec, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alan "Bill" Parkin and Alexanderina "Alexa" Parkin; his brother Alan; his parents-in-law, Margaret Maybury and Roderick Maybury; and his brother-in-law Stuart Maybury.
He is survived by: his children, Ryan (Maggie), Darren Parkin (Brittany Davidson) and Maddison Parkin of Mahone Bay, NS; his sister Christine Parkin (Donald Dewar); and his siblings-in-law, Bruce Maybury (Cheryl) of Burlington, ON and Beverly Maybury of Georgetown, ON. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews as well as many dear family friends.
Donations in memory may be made to the Valley Regional Hospital Foundation, Alzheimer/Dementia Association, Heart and Stroke Foundation or any charity of choice.
