He was predeceased by: his parents, Bramwell Gudger and Mary Gudger (Jennings); and his sisters, Jean and Annette. He is survived by: his wife Marie; his stepchildren, Shawn, Carnita and Angela; his sisters, Linda and Wendy; and his close friend Tillie. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
