It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerald Hennigar (Kennetcook, Nova Scotia), who passed away on August 28, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Oran and Nellie Hennigar (McLellan); and his siblings, Nelson, Vernon, Blair, Mavis, Hazel and Betty.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Ann Hennigar (Scott); his son Lawrence "Laurie" Gerald Hennigar; his sisters, Pauline Beattie and Myrna Dingle (LeRoy); and his cousin Marjorie Thompson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions there will be a public graveside committal service celebrating Ged's life on Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 2pm in the St. Peter's Anglican Church Cemetery, Upper Kennetcook.
