He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Blois and Daisy Blois (Harvey); and his siblings, Gladys Bums (Charlie), Ellen White (Walter), Florence Hennigar (Lester), Mary Brown (Howard), Shirley Parker (Gerry), Austin Blois (Sally), Thelma Phalen (Gordie), Ruth Ledwidge (Laurie), John Blois (Betty), Olive and Harold Blois.

He is survived by: his wife Hilda; his children, Barron (Debbie), Paul and Greg (Kathy); his grandchildren, Beau, Michael, Emmett, Jordan, Willem, Courtney and Morgan; and his great grandchildren, Issac, Arlo and Molly. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
