He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Laffin and Margaret Laffin (Kerr); his wife Verna; and his siblings, Emmerson, Rodney, Reuben, Leroy, Raymond, Reginald, Nathan Armond Ralph, Janie (MacAskill) and Cora (Thomas).

He is survived by: his children, Judy and Randy (Sue); his niece Susie; and his grandchildren, Anna, Johnathan and Jamie. He is also survived by greatgrandchildren and 1 great-greatgrandchild.
