She was predeceased by: her parents, Flora Rankin (Blackstone) and Dan Allan Gillis (Harbourview); her husband Malcolm; and her sisters, Annie, Francie and Lillian.
She is survived by: her children, John Allan (Mary) of Port Hawkesbury, Mary Florence (Bernie) of Antigonish and Carl (Sharon) of Judique; and her grandchildren, Lacey (Byran), Michael, Logan, Riley, Connor and Breton.
