She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hughie and Mary Ann MacEachern (Gillis); her children, Ann Christine Oakley (Cornelius), Michelle MacKay (Gordon), Bernie MacDonald, David MacDonald (Jodi) and Norman MacDonald; her former husband Lawrence MacDonald of Little Judique; and her sons, John Donald and Jerome Alexander.

She is survived by: her siblings, Christina Chisholm (Alex) and Ronald MacEachern (Danita); her husband George A MacDonald of Reserve Mines; and her siblings, Malcolm MacEachern and Hughie John MacEachern of Tracadie. She is also survived by her seven children.

Memorial donations may be made to Leeside Transition House, Port Hawkesbury or Dementia and Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
