She was predeceased by: her parent John MacDonald (Johnny Big John); her daughter Loretta; and her sister Marie MacDonald. She is survived by: her parent Mary Ann MacDonald (Gillis); her children, Virginia, Burton (Sylvia), Ken (Mary), Antigonish, Brenda MacDonald (Archie) of Judique and Clayton Bermuda (Karen); her grandchildren, Kent MacIsaac (Claudia), Chris MacIsaac, Amy Louise, Nolan MacDonald and Alex Ekaristiawan-Gillis; her great grandchild Brooklyn MacIsaac; and her siblings, Peggy Beaton (Winfred) of Halifax, Sadie MacDonald of Judique, John Duncan MacDonald (late Isabel) of Judique and Clair MacDonald (Ronelda) of Judique. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
