Freda May Cormier Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freda May Cormier (Joggins, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 10, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Cormier and Catherine Cormier (Brine); her sons, Stephen, Paul (Debbie) and David; and her siblings, Charlie, Alfie, Amos, Joseph, Robert, Basil, Lester, Agnes Legere and Helen Mills.

She is survived by: her children, Nancy (Blair) of Durham, NS and Peter (Lucille) of Truemanville, NS; and her daughters-in-law, Laura Jewers of Toronto Ont and Della Lawless-Jewers of Halifax, NS. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Donations can be made in lieu of flowers in Freda's name to the SPCA of Pictou County.
