It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sarah Catherine Mackenzie (Iona, Nova Scotia), born in Pipers Cove, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 4, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rory Joseph and Annie MacNeil (MacNeil); her husband Neil; her son-in-law James Andre MacKinnon; and her siblings, Florence MacNeil (Danny), Mary Sarah MacNeil (Paddy), Mary Ann MacKenzie (Peter Rory), Michael (Frances) and Hector (Helena).
She is survived by: her children, Neil (Diane), Theresa MacKinnon, Anne McCormick (Kevin), Sandra DePompa (Tony), Sharon Wansbrough (Doug), Keith (Marie), Kevin (Anne) and David L. (Terry). She is also survived by her 18 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and godchildren.
Memorial donations in memory of Kay can be made to the St. Barra's Cemetery Fund or Mass for Shut-Ins.
