It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arnold MacNeil (Iona, Nova Scotia), who passed away on April 23, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Arnold MacNeil to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Anthony and Mary Agnes MacNeil (MacNeil); his wife Sissy; his siblings, Lawrence, Allan, Leo, Frances, Agnes, Jeanette and Eleanor; his stepmother Bridget Burns MacNeil; and his stepbrothers, Bill and Donald Burns.
He is survived by: his sisters, Isabel Mills, Kaye Anne MacNeil and Benacadie West; and his stepsiblings, Bruce Burns (Marilyn) and Mary Curran. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the St. Columba Church (2561 St Columba Rd, Iona, NS B2C1A8). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Columba Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
