He was predeceased by: his parents, James Hannigan and Clara Hannigan; and his sister Lorine Mac Eachern of Cape George, Antigonish.. He is survived by: his wife Anita Hannigan (LeBlanc); his children, James (Ellie), Shelley (Mike), LoriAnn (Dave) and Robert Kevin (Danielle); his grandchildren, Courtney, Emily, Tanner, Lily, Jamie, Charlotte, Liam, Reanne, Michaela, Kaitlyn and Keaton; his great grandchildren, Max and Collins; and his siblings, Julia, Bernice, Carlann, Mary, Wayne, Phyllis and Marcella.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society.
