He was predeceased by: his wife Irene MacFarlane (MArgaree); his first born Karen Ann; his siblings, Belle, Angus, Rebecca and Archie; and his parents, Mike and Willena.

He is survived by: his children, Marie (Wayne), Michele, Betty (Mose), Natalie (Robert) and Lloyd (Pamela); his grandchildren, Natasha, Megann, Michael, Bruce, Andrew, Stephen, Leah, Courtney, Emily, Stuart and Derreck; his great grandchildren, Drew, Haivyn, Lily, Nicole, Marley, Ethan, Sawyer, Callie, Ruby, Grace and Grayson; his siblings, Harry and Linda; and his sister-in-law Eva.

In Lieu of flowers Pappa requested donations be made to the school breakfast program at Inverness Education Centre/Academy.
