She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernie Beaton and Lila Beaton; her husband Bernie LaPierre; and her siblings, John, Louis Beaton and Tena MacDougall.

She is survived by: her children, Rose, Janice (Ken), Crystal (Scott), Brian (Tressa) and Claudie (Shelly); her granddaughter Megan; her siblings, Dan Joe Beaton and Annie MacDonald; her niece Margie MacDonald (Jack); and her godsons, Blaise MacDonnell (Paula) and Brandon MacDonald. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as countless other family members and friends.

Memorial donations in Mary's name may be made to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada.
