He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dan MacKay and Mary Dorothy MacKay (MacIsaac). He is survived by: his wife Janice (Poirier); his son Jonathan; his sister Mary Beaton; and his godchild Chelsea. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
