He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Christine Gillis (MacDonald); and his siblings, John Neil, Alexander, Mary (Burke), Evelyn (Hutchison) and Betty (Judson).
He is survived by: his wife Judith (Ferguson); his sons, Todd (Roberta) and Timmy (Donna); his grandchildren, Ryan, Davide, Olivia, Nicholas and Gemma; his stepgrandsons, Ethan, Zachary (Maria) and Owen; his niece Evelyn MacKay (Brian); and his friends, Sandy and Deanna MacLean.
Memorial donations may be made to Inverary Manor, Inverness or to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society.
