It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Shane Moore (Inverness, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 22, 2023, at the age of 52, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Shane Moore to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his father Rick MacDonald; and his grandparents, Percy, Marcella Fraser Moore, John Andrew and Sadie McDonald.

He is survived by: his mother Marion MacEachern (Dougal); his sisters, Maggie Durrant (Kyle) and Tara; his nieces, Madison and Marina; his nephew Kyle; his close friend Bernadette Poirier; and his aunt Murdell (Jim). He is also survived by uncles and many many cousins.

Memorial donations may be made to Central Inverness Palliative Care Society or to the Cancer Society of Nova Scotia.

Knew him as a child (a cute and funny one) then when he got married and then met up with him in Halifax when he needed a refference for his job at the shipyards which I happily gave and recieved many thanks for. May he rest in God and watch over his children as they grow and hopefully turn into as good a person as he was.”
