With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Joseph Smith (Inverness, Nova Scotia), who passed away on January 18, 2023 at the age of 63. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Angus Smith and Catherine Ann Smith (MacEachern); and his siblings, Pauline (Krahl) and Gordon Smith. He is survived by: his siblings, Donnie of Kingston, ON, Rachael (Bob) and Bernie (Inverness). He is also survived by his nephews, nieces and his great nephews and great nieces.

“I am so sorry for Joe.. I just saw his death. We were very fond of Joe. He gave Aggie and Sander lots of drives to church. He was a regular attendee of mass and a solid support for his Mom whom we loved too. I will attend mass here for Joe and all the family this week. He kept a close eye on me in the hospital when I was very sick and I later found out his mom was down the hall from me so we had a messenger keeping watch Sorry for you all with so many deaths this past year Mary(Alex Dan) Morris”
