We are sad to announce that on August 3, 2021, at the age of 97, Jessie Gillis (Inverness, Nova Scotia), born in Judique, Nova Scotia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Angus MacEachern and Mary MacEachern; her husband Romie Gillis; and her siblings, Annie Sullivan, Katie MacEachern, Mabel MacEachern, Hugh Mac Eachern and Mary Blouin.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Gillis (Donald R.), Muriel, Tony, Cecilia MacEachen (Joe), John Gillis (Aurea), Bernie Gillis, Robert Gillis (Diane), Marjorie, Donald, Danny Gillis (Kelly), Sandy Gillis, Gord Gillis (Will), Catherine Gillis and Stephen Gillis (Deanna); her grandchildren, Wendy (Adrian), Holly (Dean), Sheldon (Beth), Sheridan (Leigha), Breon (Erin), Louise, Jerry, Mark (Ramona), Diedre, Chris (Gen), Shawn (Deb), Katie (Jeff), Robbie (Jillian), Stacy (Matt), Christian (Liz), Luke (Angela), Jillian, Crystal (Stephen), Emma, Daniel and Mack; her great grandchildren, Charles, Jack, Drew, Aiden, Ella, Rory, Matthew, Ewan, Alistair, Leo, Conrad, Jessie, Mary, Calum, River and Alexander; her great great grandchildren, Ariel, Holden and Malcolm; and her cousin Donald.

Due to Covid Restrictions the funeral will be family only.
