With solemn reverence, we commemorate Hugh John MacKenzie (Inverness, Nova Scotia), whose life came to an end on January 20, 2025 at the age of 86, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnny MacKenzie and Catherine MacKenzie (MacDonald); his siblings, John Alex, Charlie of Donnie, AJ, Neil, Alex, Jessie Ann, Margaret and Mary (Cookie); and also Steven Alexander.
He is survived by: his significant other Sylvia MacKenzie; his children, Darlene (Hughie) and John (Tammy); his grandchildren, Katie, Kolby and Diamond; and his sister Theresa. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Margaret of Scotland Church (178 Broad Cove Marsh Rd, Inverness, NS B0E1N0). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in Hugh's memory may be made to Inverness Consolidated Memorial Hospital.
