Delia Marie Harper Obituary
We bid farewell to Delia Marie Harper of Inverness, Nova Scotia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 16, 2025 at the age of 79. Delia Marie touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Smith and Annie Mae Smith (MacPhail); and her husband Clemmie. She is survived by: her children, Mark (Elaine) of Inverness, Peter of Inverness, Kurt (Carrie), Roger (Danielle) and Charlene (Robert); and her siblings, Nellie Timmons, Alex Spears (Ann) and Charlie Smith (Jane Ann). She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephew.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Inverness Funeral Home (45 Macisaac Rd, Inverness, NS B0E1N0). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stella Maris Church (47 Upper Railway St, Inverness, NS B0E1N0).
Memorial donations in memory of Delia can be made to the QEII Foundation Palliative Medicine (or any palliative care of your choice) or to the Cancer Society of Nova Scotia.
