With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Colin Andrew Macdonell (Inverness, Nova Scotia), who passed away on May 3, 2018 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Colin MacDonell; and his siblings, Alex Francis, Angus Francis, Donald Francis, Mary MacDonell (Morse) and Catherine Annie MacDonell.
He is survived by: his parent Annie Mae MacDonell (Gillis); his wife Cassie MacDonell (MacDonald); his daughters, Colleen O'Connor (Glen) of Port Hood and Lisa Taylor (Shawn) of Lower Sackville; his grandchildren, Christina, Andrew, Mitchell, Jacob and Lily; his sister-in-law Annie Mae Mac Donald (Donnie) of Port Hood; and also, Little, Jessie Beaton of Mabou and Annie Mae Mac Donell of Port Hood. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of the late Collie MacDonell can be made to one of the following charities: Central Inverness Palliative Care Society; St. Peter's Parish Cemetery Fund or the Port Hood and Area Resting Place.
