She was predeceased by: her parents, Janet MacQuarrie and Malcolm MacQuarrie; her husband Ned MacDonald; her parents-in-law, Betty and Dan Joe MacDonald; and her siblings, Stanley MacQuarrie and Danena Mackinnon (Malcolm).
She is survived by: her daughters, Janna Saffarek (Reid) and Breanna MacDonnell (Liam); her grandchildren, Raine Saffarek, Noah MacDonnell and Brooke MacDonnell; and her siblings, Angus MacQuarrie (Mabel), Floanna Chisholm (Al), Lauchie MacQuarrie (Millie), Alex "Trapper" MacQuarrie (Wilena), Cecil MacQuarrie (Mary Anderson) and Cameron MacQuarrie (Clare). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
