He was predeceased by: his parent Carl Thomas Jackson; and his brother Cyril Jackson of Ingonish. He is survived by: his parent Carrie Augusta Roper; his spouse Rosalie Jean Hyland; his son Michael Sidney Jackson (Sally Bushell) of Calgary; and his sisters, Lois Hardy of Ingonish and Isa Baker of Sydney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
