She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Jackson and Carrie Jackson (Roper); her husband Melvin; her grandson Jamie; her siblings, Cyril, Sidney and Isa Baker; and her siblings-in-law, Ivy, Rose and Alfred Baker.
She is survived by: her son Roger (Margo); her grandchildren, Mandy Esliger (Keith), Matthew and Graham (Allison); her daughter-in-law Lorraine; and her great grandchild Alex. She is also survived by nieces and nephews who were like her own children, and grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lois's memory may be made to St. John's Anglican Church, Ingonish, or a charity of one's choice.
