He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Tubrett and Gertrude Tubrett (Oliver). He is survived by: his grandchildren, Liam, Luke, Maura Kell, Kalayna, Alexei, Nikolai and Larissa Tubrett; his wife Margaret (Henderson); his children, Helen, Elizabeth and Brian; his sister Helen; and his siblings-in-law, Carmel (Sonny), Theresa (Gorman), Anne Kennedy (Ed), Mary Jane Henderson-MacDonald (Harris) and Allan Henderson (Pat). He is also survived by his many nephews and nieces.
