He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Munroe and Helen Munroe (Goulden); and his siblings, Elburn, Donald, Lloyd, Zelma McKinnon and Alma Goulden.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Perry); and his children, Francis (Linda), Kelvin (Paulette), Eric (Tammy Smith) and Tina Hatfield (Kenny). He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
