He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Walker and Muriel Walker (Hartlen); and his brothers, Donald, Darrell and Graham.
He is survived by: his son Tom; his grandchildren, Lauren and Evan; his son John (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Riley, Jacob, Connor and Isla. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Nova Scotia Alzheimer's Society or charity of choice.
