He was predeceased by: his parents, Andy Dorey and Elsie Dorey (MacLean); his wife Mary Jane Dorey; and his siblings, Marjorie, Dorothy, Gerald, Andy and Herbie.
He is survived by: his children, Angela (Brian), Sandy Cove, Amy (Edward), Allan (Juile), Daniel (Thomas) and Chester; his grandchildren, Troy, Sheena, Rachael and Audrina; his great grandchild Weston; and his siblings, Jenny, Joan and Frankie.
