He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Snair and Vivian Snair (Graves). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie (Sawler); his sons, Dana Sawler, David Jr. (Amanda) and Chester Basin; and his siblings, Neil (Helen), Bruce (Jodi), Clement, James, Harvey and Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
