He was predeceased by: his parent Almon Dorey; his son Danny Jr.; and his siblings, Audrey, Shirley, Cathy, Herbie and Tom.
He is survived by: his parent Jemima Dorey (MacLean); his wife Olive Lerch; his children, Sharon, Northwest Cove, Linda (Paul Wakeling), Calgary, Scott, Halifax and Harvey; his granddaughter Melissa (Andrew Chan); and his half-brother Clarence.
