She was predeceased by: her parent Winnie Smith; her husband Franklyn; and her grandson Brandon. She is survived by: her parent Bill Smith; her children, Valerie (Craig) and Lloyd (Sherri); her grandchildren, Todd (Amanda), Joey (Sarah), Angela (Kenneth), Chantel (Kale), Jeanette and Adam; her great grandchildren, Ella and Liam; and her siblings, Reggie Smith (Julie), Margie, Jean, Bob, Charlotte, Robert, Karen, Denvert, Juanita, Jim, Lee, Mary Anne and Gerald. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ruth's memory may be made to St. Paul's United Church.
