With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Joseph Dempsey of Herring Cove, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 17, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett and Theresa (Power); his son Donald Dempsey Jr.; his grandson Adam Dempsey; and his siblings, Surry, Christopher, Harry and Caroline.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy (Forrest); his children, Darlene Fahie (Terry), Sheila Harvey (Donnie), Sara Roberts (Raymond) and Everett; his grandchildren, Terry, Jason, Kelly, Dawn, Krista, Holly, Melissa, Chantel and Alicia; and his siblings, Reggie, Dermot, Carlton, Lyllie and Marina. He is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren.
In honor of his love and dedication to his wife, Dorothy, donations in his memory can be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
