It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cyril Douglas Dempsey of Herring Cove, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 22, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Dempsey and Theresa Dempsey (Power) of Herring Cove, NS.; his siblings, Caroline, Harry and Christopher; and his daughter Tina Marie.
He is survived by: his wife Bernadine Orton; his siblings, Donny, Reggie, Dermot, Marina (Forrester), Carlton and Lylie (Pelerine); his children, Sherry Field (Steve), Sean (Diane LeBlanc), Cyril Jr., Liam (Katherin O'Carroll), New Westminster and BCand Seamus (Chrissy Gray); his grandchildren, Steven, Christopher, Lesley, Brennan, Erin, Conor, Kimberly, Caitlyn, Aiden, Layla and Ciara; and his great grandchildren, Rylie, Lily, Juliette, Lainey, Clara, Scottie and Blake. He is also survived by his brothers, sons, grandchildren.
