He was predeceased by: his parents, Zella Bustin (Moses) and Victor Bustin; his wife Marie; and his siblings, Garth and Ann Seely (Bruce).
He is survived by: his sons, Gary (Jennie Bishop) of Greenwich and Robin (Jane Walsh) of Berwick; his grandchildren, John (Wendy Fraser), Ian (Sarah Padovani), Sean (MinJi Kim), Erin (Mark Laver), Kyle (Erica Legault) and Clare (Donald Pirie-Hay); his great grandchildren, Ana, Henry, Arthur, Imogen Bustin, John Bustin, Nora, Mary Laver, Frederick Pirie-Hay, Diana Bustin and Maisie Bustin-Legault; his sisters, Carol Johnson (Wayne) and Doris Robicheau (Carl); and his friend Bill Canty. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
