He was predeceased by: his parents, Duncan MacAskill and Florence MacAskill (MacQuarrie); his siblings, Hughie, Duncan John and Jane; and his brothers-in-law, James Rogers, Eddie MacInnis and Donald MacQuarrie.
He is survived by: his wife Anne (Rogers); his siblings, Murdock (Elizabeth), Uxbridge, Ont, Angus (Pauline), Julia MacQuarrie, Annie MacInnis, Catherine Gray and Florence Hatcher (Alex); his sister-in-law Dorothy MacAskill; and his niece Carrie MacAskill.
