It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gerard DeGruchy of Havre Boucher, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary, Allan DeGruchy, Clarence, Nina Greencorn and Grampy Joe Levangie; his brother-in-law Rick Fraser (Marion); his uncles, Alexander (Elizabeth DeGruchy), Edward (Colleen DeGruchy), Peter DeGruchy, Sylvester (Mary-Ellen Greencorn) and Eldon Greencorn; and his cousins, Joseph, James, Gerard, Michael, Monica and Dennis.
He is survived by: his parents, Andrew DeGruchy and Barbara DeGruchy; his siblings, Joseph (Anne), Clarence (Carmen), Marion and Diane; his nieces and nephews, Alana, Courtney, Megan, Mandy, Ryan, Jordan and Justin; and his uncles, Billy DeGruchy (Madeline) and Spencer Greencorn (Dorothy). He is also survived by many grand-nieces, grand-nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the St. Paul's Parish Centre. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Parish.
Memorial Donations may be made to St. Paul's Parish and the Lunch Program.
