She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nicholson and Margaret Nicholson; her husband Selwyn "Frank" Ripley; and her brothers, Buster (Mary), Ernie (Eileen), Donald (Phyllis), Ralph (Gwennie), Reginald (Helen), Walter, Vernon (Shirley), Arthur and Eddy (Joan).

She is survived by: her children, Calvin (Judy), Donnie (Linda) and Jeff (Gail); her grandchildren, Morgan Strain (Geoff), Hillary Ripley (Nathan MacMillan) and Haley Forgeron (Matthew); her great grandchildren, Hadley, Hope, Alice and Henry; her brothers, Jackie (Margie) and Kenny; her sister-in-law Virginia; and her sisters, Edna O'Neill (Cyril), Dorothy Smith (Walter), Margaret Travers (Jack), Marjorie O'Neill (Don) and Ruth Boutilier (Gerald). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
