She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Sarty and Rena Sarty (Gaul); and her siblings, Alma Hudson and Martin Sarty. She is survived by: her husband Eugene Caldwell; her son Bradley Caldwell (Stephanie); and her brothers, Edison Sarty (Rose), Clarence, Rodney Sarty (Penny) and Granville. She is also survived by numerous niece sand nephews.

Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
